James Wolfgang Rogers – Afife Beach 1

Description

Artist Statement

The photographic genres I’m drawn to are abstract, industrial, modernism, geometric expressionism, and urbanism. I’m also exploring landscape photography and aerial photography. My subjects tend to be eclectic and encompass statues, factories, railroads, cities, street scenes, nature, metal, architecture and aerials. My vision is
modern, progressive, visionary and serendipitous. Recently I’ve been drawn to reflection photographs, using water, whether large bodies or small puddles, to convey a sense of abstract up or down viewpoints. My goal, through my vision, is producing unique beauty that evokes amazement.
