Artist Statement

I approach photography as an investigation of fluid physics and temporal boundaries, utilizing the ocean surf as a medium to explore the convergence of absolute stillness and monumental power. The sea offers a rich visual
vocabulary-composed of volatile textures, kinetic motion, glass-like translucency, and shifting light. My practice translates these raw environmental phenomena from literal oceanic landscapes into intimate, contemplative abstractions designed to evoke a visceral emotional response.
