Unintended
Mark S. Kimbrough is an award-winning artist, photographer, and designer whose practice examines perception, material tension, and the shifting relationship between human intention and the natural world. His work has received more than 35 international design awards and encompasses three decades of exploration across photography, industrial design, and visual communication.
Unintended begins with what is overlooked: the discarded, the weathered, and the incidental traces of human presence found along roadsides and at the edges of the built environment. Removed from their original function, these objects enter another state-one shaped not by design, but by time, weather, entropy, and natural forces.
