Artist Statement
am a Colombian American Contemporary Artist. I love to paint mostly in oils, but I also enjoy to do some mixed.media, because I like to put some texture on my paintings, to almost make them come to life. I regularly paint on all kind of sizes, including miniatures.
Because my Latin culture, all of my paintings are full of color , painted with love. Even my signature has a heart on top of my initials.(GW ) I like to take many photos from vacations with my hubby, always feeling full of inspiration from all of the beautiful places we go. Then, i paint a special memory, after every special moment or place I went.
