About the Artist

Artist Statement

This piece is a statement to my family. I wanted to make very visible the love I have for them. I used a lot of very soft wool that pulls you in when you touch it and makes you feel surrounded by love. I wove it on a loom in Mexico using wool from sheep, llama and alpaca.

Artist Biography

I have been weaving in Mexico for over 30 years. I’ve shown in Canada, The United States and Mexico. My pieces reflect a wide range of topics from political to nature studies, to work that has been inspired by other artists.
