My art explores the connection between people, places, and the emotional worlds we carry within us. I am fascinated by how a landscape can become more than a physical location-how the ocean, a horizon, moonlight, or an open sky can hold memory, emotion, longing, and a sense of belonging.
Working between figuration and abstraction, I often merge the human figure with the surrounding environment. The figures in my paintings are not portraits of specific individuals, but expressions of universal experiencestransformation, introspection, freedom, vulnerability, and connection.
