Craig Deman – EGG SKIRT

Description

Artist Statement

AI Belles is an ongoing exploration of beauty, fashion, identity, and constructed reality through generative artificial intelligence.
Within each AI Belles image, I have the ability to reconsider virtually every element of the visual language: the face and body, hair and makeup, clothing and styling, objects and gestures, architecture and landscape, perspective and composition, color and texture, light and shadow, atmosphere, sky, and weather. Although generative AI offers an unprecedented degree of control, it also introduces elements of chance, interpretation, and discovery. My role becomes one of imagining possibilities, directing the visual language,
recognizing unexpected moments, and shaping them into a finished work.
