Artist Statement

I am drawn to subtlety and hidden meaning–a glimpse of light, the look in someone’s eyes, the depth of a shadow. I draw most of my inspiration from the world around me. I especially love the fleeting moments found in nature. Nothing looks the same from second to second. I create art because I need to capture the beauty and depth I see every day.
