Artist Statement

As a self-taught artist, my creative journey began in childhood, when I was naturally drawn to drawing, coloring, and exploring the endless possibilities of making something meaningful from an idea. As a teenager, I made my own clothes and helped my mother design our home. Later, I became a graphic designer and worked towards a degree in Interior Design. In short, the arts have been a constant source of inspiration for me, shaping the way I see the world and influencing my personal creativity.
As a graphic designer, I developed an appreciation for visual storytelling, balance, detail, and the power of thoughtful design. That experience continues to influence my creative process today. I am equally passionate about interior decorating, where I bring together color, texture, furniture, and personal elements to create spaces that feel beautiful, welcoming, and alive. When creating art, I draw upon all of my life experiences and the many technical skills I have learned.
