Artist Statement
The inspiration behind my photography is rooted in a deep curiosity about people and the beauty in how we connect and express emotion. When capturing photos, I do not focus on documenting a scene or a face, but rather the unseen emotions and candid moments that tell a beautiful story. Whether I am shooting an event, wedding or portrait, I become part of these moments; intuitively anticipating and capturing the authentic beauty in people.
I have always found it easy to connect with people, a trait that allows me to quickly establish a comfortability with my clients. This gift breaks down the invisible walls people often have in front of a lens. In portraiture, this trust invites raw authenticity, revealing the true essence of an individual as well as fleeting intervals of beauty that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
