Artist Statement

My practice centers on imaginative character design and bold, graphic imagery, using acrylic on canvas, paper, and occasional found cardboard to stage playful, emblematic gures. These cartoon-like beings collide with letters, numbers, and symbols drawn from signage, comics, and everyday objects, building a personal mythology that feels both familiar and slightly o -kilter. Through this work I aim to turn simple shapes and phrases into open-ended stories, inviting viewers to and humor, vulnerability, and their own narratives in the mix.
