Artist Statement

When I create embroidery, I begin by imagining a story. Before I make the first stitch, I think about who the character is, the world they inhabit, and what they might be feeling. That narrative becomes the foundation of each piece, guiding every gesture, expression, and detail. I want my work to invite viewers beyond the surface of the embroidery and into the lives of the characters, encouraging them to imagine their own stories and emotional connections.
