My abstract work emerges from intuition, movement and from the materials themselves. Rather than depicting the literal world, I explore sensation-how color can hold memory, and how texture can suggest emotion. Each piece definitely begins without a fixed outcome, allowing process to guide composition and meaning.
Layering is also central to my artwork. Marks are built, obscured and revealed. I’m interested in the experience between intention and accident, where unexpected forms create new visual pathways. My aim is to create environments that feel open, where the viewer can project their own experience and interpretations. I have always loved the fluidity of abstract painting. It feels like freedom.
